Today at the Table is my way of keeping track of the meals I will be making. Some will be recipes I discover, some will be cookbook favorites, and some will be dishes created by yours truly when the kitchen feels inspiring. It also welcomes you into my kitchen and gives you a peek at the simple food that shapes real life around here. Think of it as a friendly invitation to follow along, read the full story, and find ideas for your own table too.

Tuesdays like this feel easy; the kind where meals are already made, and all I have to do is warm them up and enjoy the calm in between.

Brunch will be a cinnamon–raisin bagel with peanut butter, simple and familiar. Dinner will be the leftover Friendsgiving casserole with holiday cranberry sauce cozy, creamy, and even better the second time around.

And dessert? Leftover French silk pie. Smooth, chocolatey, and the kind of treat that makes a Tuesday feel a touch more celebratory.

While the leftovers reheat, I’ll be planning our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. This year, I’ve decided to lean into Joanna Gaines’ Holiday Recipes from Magnolia Journal not part of The Jeanie Jo & Joanna Project, just a joyful detour because they fit the season and my mood. Comfort, ease, and a little holiday magic.

Kitchen Tool: Pioneer Woman’s Floral Shaped Enamel 3 Quart Cast Iron Dutch Oven holding all the leftover comfort.

The Flower Pot

Cooking Tip: When reheating casseroles, I’ll add a splash of milk or broth and cover with foil. It keeps everything creamy instead of dry.

It’ll be a leftovers-and-lists kind of Tuesday; warm food, holiday notes, and a little grace woven through it all.

What’s on your menu?
