By midweek, I’ll stop chasing perfection and start chasing flavor. Wednesday will begin with something easy — sausage patties and Trader Joe’s hashbrowns, the kind that crisp up beautifully in the skillet. I’ll top them with a spoonful of pico de gallo and call it breakfast happiness.

By dinner, I’ll be in full comfort mode. Philly cheesesteaks will be on the table — seared steak, sweet onions, and melty provolone tucked inside a toasted roll. It’ll be messy, satisfying, and exactly what the middle of the week needs.

And because cookies have become the punctuation marks of my week, the Silo Cookies from Tuesday will make another appearance. Still soft, still chocolatey, and still proof that some things are worth repeating.

Maybe that’s the real rhythm of the week — not about balance, but about grace. Knowing that by Wednesday, I’ll need something hearty to remind me I’m human, and something sweet to remind me life’s still good.
